This past weekend was awesome. We headed up to good ol' Oklahoma, to the small town of Duncan - population 22,531. We arrived Thursday night with just enough time to unpack and crawl in bed. The next morning we hit the lake (Clear Creek Lake) at the break of dawn. Callie and Andrew had fixed up the boat so we just wanted to take it out and giver her a test run before Saturday. The lake was glassy and perfect for swimming.

Later that evening we headed to Lawton (nearby big town) to attend the Tim McGraw concert. Before though, we were able to hit up a local Korean restaurant. Needless to say, everyone tried the kimchee at least once, and everyone liked the bulgolgi. The concert was a lot of fun with all the people, the lights, and most of all the music. It ended up being another late night as we all crawled into bed.

Saturday morning was a blast, as we once again headed off to the lake to go skiing. One by one each person took turns trying out the skis until we had all taken a turn. The lake was pretty nice because not many boats had showed up for the 4th. After we got back to the house (which by the nice was amazing) a rainstorm showed up and canceled all the firework shows. Improvising we popped in "New in Town" (2 thumbs up) and watched it while Shelby worked on her WIP in the background. It was a fun filled, feel good movie worth watching with anybody.

Sunday was filled with a lot driving as we headed back to the best state in the world, TEXAS (followed by Oklahoma). In Decatur we ate lunch at the Armadillo Grill and had the best ribs in the world. Then just 3 more hours and we were home sweet home. It was all a blast, thanks to Callie and Andrew for the great weekend.

Here's a movie of the weekend.
