Engagement Pictures

So last Saturday we went to Independence (small town about 30 miles from College Station) and took engagement pictures with Tyan Jacox.  We haven't gotten any yet from her so I just posted a pretty picture that Shelby and I took a while back.  If you want to check out Tyan's work go to tinybirdphotography.com

Casey and Parker

So I finally figure out how to post this video of Casey and Parker with Julie's help.  Hope it works.

A Visit To The Hospital

So last Friday I had the pleasure of touring once again the facilities of the Physicians Center again here in College Station, Texas.  It was a blast - they gave me all this feel good medicine and I could hardly remember a thing, and while I was there, I got my ACL repaired! Yayy.  So here's a few clips of my enjoyable weekend.

Don't ask me how Shelby ever got me to pose for this picture.  Obviously I was under some medications.  I guess after you go in for the same surgery more than once, you just start feeling way too comfortable in those gowns.

I'm not quite sure if this one is of me before or after the surgery, but I sure hope they didn't do the whole procedure with my glasses on. . ? Maybe this was just a snoozing shot from Friday afternoon.
What better than a balloon to laugh at and a new knee brace (now I have like 12 of those braces).  These were compliments of Joe.  All in all, everything is alright, I'm getting better and Shelby is taking care of me with everyone else here.

Mother's Day in October

So this weekend Joseph, Shelby, and I went to Palestine in the morning so that we could eat lunch with Dad and Sharon.  We had burgers and hotdogs by "Joe" and they were great. (oh yeah, shrimp too).  We were then delighted to see Joseph and Dad work on getting the world's easiest remote for multiple functions to work.  Does such a thing truly exist??  It was real fun though just being in Palestine at home to hang out and relax.   After lunch Shelby and I drove up to Tyler to get her wedding dress finalized and fixed all up just right for the big day.  I have to say, today was the first day that I really wanted to see her in her dress, especially with all the Murray's saying how pretty and awesome it was.

Here's Joe driving to Palestine in my Sentra.  It has one gear, . . .that only goes about 80 m.p.h.  Needless to say, we made it in one piece, and had fun doing it.

These were the flowers Shelby and I put together (mainly Shelby, but I supported).  We even got little pumpkin things to put there too (Serena's idea).  It turned out really nice I thought, and I know Mom would've loved it.  Shelby's sooo awesome!!

After Palestine we came back to College Station and met up with Serena, Dave, and Maggie to eat dinner together.  Serena cooked, Dave watched Maggie dance, and the rest of us just drooled over the food (even Shelby).  The menu tonight included bulgolgi, white rice, veggies, soy sauce, and all you can eat KIMCHEE, . . .and ginger ale. lol.  We all tore it up including Dave aaaand Shelby.  Too bad Anthony that you couldn't be down.  I've actually got downloaded a program that makes the picture above a scratch and sniff, so have at it.

For all though, today was a memorable day for our Mom.  We all miss her and hope that today was honorable for her.   We can all remember the good times and everything that she taught us so that her life won't be forgotten.  I love you all and wish the best for everyone.

Parker and Casey

So I couldn't figure out how to ever get that video up so here's some pictures. '
Enjoy!

Parker is a sucker at using those little ol puppy eyes.

This is what Casey thought about Parker upon his arrival.  Yikes!!

This one is of Parker when we had just picked him up.  He didn't cry one bit all the way home.
